The lines to get on the hay wagons were exceptionally long as well. Even to just get to the apple picking spots, it's several miles worth, and there are not enough hay wagons in those areas to just get one to the next location. We also weren't aware that (first come first serve) carts were available for our boxes and PYO fruits/veggies we got a 10lb and 20lb box, the 20lb box was incredibly heavy to carry around in your arms throughout the miles of steep terrain. Secondly, when we got our tickets for PYO, we weren't given a map of the place and weren't even told a map existed they don't even tell you where to go after you check-in. be prepared to walk a long while or get there incredibly early to avoid the crowding. The parking situation on weekends is awful. now, most of that isn't the fault of management but I'll include it here so others can be aware of it. Overall, I would return, on a weekday, with a cart and a map, now that I know how everything works and enjoyed the scenery and delicious apples.įirstly, it is too overcrowded on the weekends with ridiculously long lines for the bathrooms AND the handwashing station had no water and wasn't working also, the lines for food were insanely long. It was a fun and beautiful experience BUT there were many failures because of the disorganized nature of the farm.
